Mom, Dad, and Katie came over today to help me get the pictures and letters put in place. Dad did such a good job hanging everything - measuring and marking to an exact science.

While dad was busy working, mom made corned beef and cabbage with carrots and beer bread.

Pretty much it was a good day.

Once we have a changing table and a baby, we'll be in business.

Finding what I wanted to frame for my nursery was a big deal, but now everything is squared away. The crib has been put together. Except for a dresser, the nursery is almost done.

Yesterday, I put this little frame together. Love it!

Dueling Babies -Sadly, Jeri is a month ahead!



Yesterday mom's lovely friends threw a wonderful shower for me and for my friend Jeri, who is also pregnant.

The food was spectacular. Every single thing was delicious and I definitely wanted to eat my weight in Debbie's chocolate cake.

My friend Emily is going to shoot some newborn photos for us.
She does great work, and you can see for yourself by clicking here!

While at a shower this weekend, Em was talking over the newborn photo logistics with me. She mentioned that I should pick up a cute little diaper cover for the photo shoot. Since we don't know the gender of our baby, she suggested picking up one for each gender and then having my sis get it monogrammed for us before the photo shoot. Cool.

I started looking at these precious little diaper cover/bloomer things.

Gentle Giraffe

Spent some time with my cousin this weekend who introduced me to the Sleep Sheep. The Sleep Sheep plays four different comforting white noise sounds to that have "therapeutic qualities".
The sheep is cute, but when I went to the website, I saw the Gentle Giraffe, which I love. It is now on my list of must have's. How cute is this little drowsy guy!!??
